Alert from Template Guide
An Alert Template is a pre-made alert which can be implemented on either the Reports page or the Discover page to create a quick alert with very little hassle. The main upside to using a template instead of creating an alert from scratch is the time and effort required to configure and setup a customized alert being very little with the main drawback being that it might not be as detailed or as specific as a user might like.
How to create an Alert via a Template
To create an alert from a saved template you will first need to navigate to the either the Alert section of either the Event page or the Discover page.
From there, click on Create alert and in the prompt that follows click on From a Template, you’ll then be greeted with a list of categories that our templates are categorized under. Open whichever category matches the situation you are dealing with and from there you can click on a Alert Template you’d like to utilize. When selected the template will then automatically fill in the Alert Page with relevant saved search and information.
From here you can edit the alert if you’d like (more information can be found here on editing alerts), if you’re done making changes or the alert is fine as is then you can click the save button to complete.
